- Use your right hand for the right hearing aid and your left hand for the left hearing aid
- Start by hanging the hearing aid over your finger
- The tip of the tube should be facing towards the ear
- Place the hearing aid over the ear by hooking the curve of the tube over the top of the ear
- Gently insert the tip into the ear, holding the bend in the tubing until it feels secure and comfortable
- Position the ear grip or receiver into the curve of the ear
- If you are finding it difficult, ask a family member or friend to assist you
