Refer a Friend for your chance to win a share of $10,000 (“Promotion”)
How it works
1. You must be an existing Hearing Australia client.
2. Send the referral form link to your friend or family member (contained in the email you received from us), along with your full name, phone number and email address. The form will ask your referral for these details, so ensure that the information you give them matches the details on our system—this will enable us to track the referral back to you.
3. If your referral fills out and submits the form by 24/07/26, attends a hearing assessment* with us by 31/07/26, and we confirm they have hearing loss, you’ll both be in with a chance to win $5,000 each!
Note: The person you refer must be someone you genuinely believe needs help with their hearing. They also can’t be an existing or previous Hearing Australia client or be a referral of another Hearing Australia client.
*A hearing assessment fee applies to self-funded clients. Pensioners may be eligible to get fully subsidised hearing assessments. Other services may attract fees. Conditions apply under the Australian Government Hearing Services Program.
Terms and Conditions
1. Promoter
The Promoter is Australian Hearing Services (trading as ‘Hearing Australia’) (ABN 80 308 797 003) of Level 5, 16 University Avenue, Macquarie University NSW 2109, Telephone: 134 432 (“Promoter”).
2. Promotional Period
The Promotion commences at 12:00am AEST on 2 February 2026 and closes at 11:59pm AEST on 31 July 2026 (“Promotional Period”).
3. Eligibility
3.1 Entry is open to Australian residents aged 18 years and over. Current employees of the Promoter during the Promotion Period, and their immediate family members are ineligible to enter.
3.2 To qualify as a valid referral, the Referred Friend must:
- be a new client who has never previously attended a Hearing Australia hearing assessment appointment; and
- not already be listed as a referral from another participant during the Promotional Period; and
- submit an online referral form by 24 July 2026; and
- book and attend a hearing assessment with Hearing Australia by 31 July 2026. A hearing assessment is conducted by a Hearing Australia clinician and is a comprehensive assessment to determine if a person has hearing loss; and
- be confirmed by Hearing Australia to have hearing loss during their assessment; and
- have their name and email address or phone number matched against Hearing Australia’s client attendance records for verification.
3.3 To qualify as a valid Referrer, the Referrer must be an existing Hearing Australia client.
3.4 Only unique referrals will be accepted. If a Referred Friend is referred by more than one person, only the first valid referral, based on the date and time of form submission, will qualify for entry. Records of the Promoter are final and conclusive as to the date and time of form submission. All subsequent referrals of the same person will be ineligible. There are no limits to the number of referrals that can be submitted.
3.5 Referrals of existing or previous Hearing Australia clients, or of any person who has already been referred by another entrant, will not be accepted.
3.6 The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries by cross-matching referral data with client hearing assessment attendance records. The Promoter’s decision on eligibility and duplicate referrals is final.
4. Entry
4.1 The cost to enter is free. However, there is a fee for hearing assessments for clients not eligible under the Australian Government Hearing Services Program Voucher Scheme. Conditions apply under the Australian Government Hearing Services Program. Information on fees can be found on hearing.com.au/fees
4.2 During the Promotional Period, the Promoter will send an email to eligible Hearing Australia clients who have consented to receive this type of marketing communication from the Promoter. The invitation will include a link to an online referral form (“Referral Link”).
4.3 The eligible Hearing Australia client who receives the Referral Link (“Referrer”) may forward that link to a friend or family member (“Referred Friend”).
4.4 To enter the draw, the Referred Friend must:
- open the Referral Link; and
- complete and submit, by 24 July 2026, the referral form by providing both the Referrer’s and their own details; and
- book and attend a hearing assessment appointment with Hearing Australia by 31 July 2026; and
- be confirmed as having hearing loss by Hearing Australia during their assessment.
4.5 Each valid referral constitutes one (1) entry in the prize draw. Multiple valid referrals are permitted, provided that each referred person is unique. Only the Referred Friend will be entered into the draw. However, should that Referred Friend be drawn as the winner, the Referrer shall be eligible to receive half the value of the total prize, per clause 5.1.
4.6 Standard data or internet charges may apply.
4.7 The Promoter’s decision regarding duplicate referrals and eligibility is final.
5. Prize
5.1 There is one (1) prize consisting of AUD $10,000, split as $5,000 for the Referrer and $5,000 for the Referred Friend.
5.2 The prize will be paid using a method that meets any applicable state and territory trade promotion lottery laws and regulations.
5.3 The total prize pool is AUD $10,000 (GST inclusive). Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable.

6.1 The draw will take place at Hearing Australia, Level 5, 16 University Avenue, Macquarie University NSW 2109, on 31 August 2026 at 2:00pm AEST. The draw will be conducted using a random number generator, and each entry has an equal chance of winning.
6.2 The first valid entry (Referred Friend) drawn during the draw (or redraw, if applicable) will win the prize. The winner’s Referrer will also automatically win the prize.
6.3 If the winners (both Referred Friend AND Referrer) cannot be contacted within fourteen (14) calendar days, the winners will be taken to have forfeited any right to the prize. The Promoter will conduct a redraw at Hearing Australia, Level 5, 16 University Avenue, Macquarie University NSW 2109, on 15 September 2026 at 2:00pm AEST.
6.4 Should a redraw occur, clause 6.3 applies until a drawn winner AND their Referrer are both successfully contacted.
7. Winner notification and publication
7.1 Winners will be notified by email and phone within two (2) business days of the draw.
7.2 The winners’ details (last name, first initial, and postcode) will be published on the Promoter’s website at hearing.com.au within seven (7) business days of the draw (or redraw, if applicable) for a minimum period of thirty (30) days.
7.3 All records relating to the Promotion will be retained for five (5) years from the draw (or redraw, if applicable) date.
7.4 The Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to determine the identity of the winners.
